In this lesson we paint beautiful pink and red violet roses in one of my favorite vases. I painted mine on a 16 x 20 linen canvas that had been primed the night before with Raw Umber and Neo Megilp so it was dry. I did add Cobalt Violet to my palette for this but you can get by with mixing Alizarin and French Ultramarine and a bit of white if you don't have access to Cobalt Violet.
