In this lesson we learn how to paint a copper Turkish vessel with garlic, shallots and brass.  This painting was very much influenced by our recent trip to see the Emil Carlsen show at the Salmagundi Club in New York.  I painted mine on a 24 x 20 but it easily would fit on a 16 x 20 if you wanted to paint it smaller.

Bill Indurski is the executive director at the Salmagundi Club and he graciously spent several hours with me and Shanna and shared with us his knowledge about Carlsen.  You can find out more information and order his book at Emilcarlsen.org
