Description

In this video, Shanna will demonstrate painting a mountain lake using rhythm to direct the eye and create the illusion of ripples and surface changes in the water.  The linen panel is 16×20 and I have used an analogous palette in the blue and green families.  I have also used Gamblin’s Cobalt Turquoise which is not readily available yet.  Many paint companies have this color in their regular color choices such as Daniel Smith.  Cerulean Blue can be used to create a beautiful turquoise as well.
