Idaho Plein Air Trip 2024

A group of women artists embarked on a plein air painting trip through the scenic landscapes of Idaho, seeking inspiration in the state’s breathtaking natural beauty. They set up their easels along the rugged cliffs of the Snake River Canyon, capturing the interplay of light and shadow on the jagged rocks. The tranquil lakes and dense forests of the Sawtooth Mountains provided a serene backdrop as they painted, each stroke of the brush reflecting the vibrant hues of the wildflowers and the deep greens of the pines. The camaraderie among the women was palpable as they shared techniques, offered encouragement, and reveled in the peaceful solitude of nature. The trip was not just about creating art, but also about forging connections with the land and with each other, making it a memorable experience filled with creativity and fellowship.
