In this lesson we paint Autumn Beauty Sunflowers which are a mix of colors along with my jade jar, brass bowl and some apples and grapes. I painted mine on a 24 x 24 C15 Linen canvas that had been toned the night before with Raw Umber and Neo Megilp. I wanted to paint a complicated painting and show you how I would take a painting to a gallery ready finish. If this painting is a bit intimidating I would suggest taking just a portion of the photo and painting it. Just paint a few of the sunflowers or paint the green apples with the brass plate behind it.
