Time-Lapse: Rivulet
Painting snow scenes is at the top of my favorite things to paint! This was done for a timelapse video for our Youtube channel. It is a small part of a photo that I took in Salmon, Idaho at my sister-in-laws house. I love the composition and the way the dark blue notes of color lead the eye through the painting. I might even do this on a really large scale like a 36×48, who knows!

It really wasn’t for perspective, it was for shape placement using dynamic symmetry. I will do a lesson on it sometime when I’m completely comfortable with it!
