Red roses can be a very difficult color to paint because of the purity of the color in the light. This is a time-lapse from the full length video. In the full video I discuss how pure color can feel more lit than color that has been lightened with white. Also learn how to paint silver, red apples, and a textured rug. My painting is done on a 16 x 20 that was toned first with Neo Megilp and a little Raw Umber. I did add Cadmium Red Deep to my palette. Running time 2:34 for the full length video
