Some years later I went to Gainsville for a 3 day seminar and we drove to Orlando where we had dinner at BRIO’s, we drank 2 bottles of wine, me, you and my husband and then we drove you to the airport. Remember? I never stopped following you but the roses…. I just cannot paint them. That is so frustrating!!! Elizabeth Robbins August 7, 2020 at 11:38 amLog in to Reply I remember. Thank you so much for the continued support. I agree roses can be frustrating. Even though I have painted probably thousands I still find them a challenge Lind Wooding August 1, 2020 at 5:46 pmLog in to Reply What a great and fun idea to art chat on the patio!! Elizabeth Robbins August 3, 2020 at 5:26 pmLog in to Reply we thought so August 3, 2020 at 2:17 pmLog in to Reply Kudos to the new patio talks. I have missed getting together with my artist friends during the pandemic. There is nothing like that kind of camaraderie between artists. Elizabeth Robbins August 3, 2020 at 2:40 pmLog in to Reply Yvonne, Art friends are the best. This Covid stuff has really taken it’s toll on us artist so we are so happy that you enjoyed this Donna Kallesser August 3, 2020 at 4:49 pmLog in to Reply What a wonderful addition to ITP!!! Olga Hegner August 5, 2020 at 3:37 pmLog in to Reply Cheers! Fun being a part of your group. And never get tired of talking about art. Elizabeth Robbins August 5, 2020 at 3:46 pmLog in to Reply Neither do we ? Anabela August 6, 2020 at 4:22 pmLog in to Reply I felt like being with you there. Loved the talk! I actually lived in a place very similar to that one, in the mountains near Rio de Janeiro. Now I am living in Rio. Missed those mountains and that quietness. Take care you both. Elizabeth Robbins August 6, 2020 at 4:31 pmLog in to Reply Anabela, I taught in Buenos Aires many years ago. No Rio but not too far either. It was a beautiful plan and found the people so friendly. We are glad you loved the talk Shanna Kunz August 11, 2020 at 6:54 pmLog in to Reply This is the first time I have seen all the replies to our Patio talks! I am so happy you all enjoyed this. It is a huge part of our passion, talking art with like minded friends. Elizabeth and I NEVER tire of talking art – EVER! And we learn something new almost every conversation. It would be really fun to have a livestream with all of us talking art with a glass of wine (or water or soda) and feel like we are really on the same patio. Something to figure out now! Diane White August 13, 2020 at 3:03 pmLog in to Reply This brings back fond memories of being there with you Liz. I sat on the porch one morning drinking my coffee and watched a moose walk through the yard. Amazing! I didn’t know why the pine trees turned orange until I heard you talk about them. We had the most beautiful orange pine tree on our street. I couldn’t figure out why it was orange but now I know. It’s recently been cut down. I am looking forward to exploring your site and learning more from both of you. Elizabeth Robbins August 13, 2020 at 5:33 pmLog in to Reply I remember that trip. You need to come out here again so we can go up to Cabin Elisabetta Curi November 21, 2020 at 3:17 pmLog in to Reply God, I envy you so much! Look at that view…a fabulous and very very deep talk….
