Love to listen to you both talk about art. You are so blessed to be such good friends. Thanks for sharing your skills, friendship and lives with us!
you are so welcome. We are honored that you are on this journey with us
Oh this was so fun! Can’t wait till the next time.
Thank you Charm
Love listening and identifying! Thank you! Still trying to find my presence in my wok!
The journey never ends LaJoyce. We are glad you are on it with us
I am back to remind you that that I first met you in Tampa at at the decorative artists convention when I got my CDA and attended your class, fell in love with your work, boutght all your DVD’s and start following you. Some years later I went to Gainsville for a 3 day seminar and we drove to Orlando where we had dinner at BRIO’s, we drank 2 bottles of wine, me, you and my husband and then we drove you to the airport. Remember? I never stopped following you but the roses…. I just cannot paint them. That is so frustrating!!!
I remember. Thank you so much for the continued support. I agree roses can be frustrating. Even though I have painted probably thousands I still find them a challenge
What a great and fun idea to art chat on the patio!!
we thought so
Kudos to the new patio talks. I have missed getting together with my artist friends during the pandemic. There is nothing like that kind of camaraderie between artists.
Yvonne, Art friends are the best. This Covid stuff has really taken it’s toll on us artist so we are so happy that you enjoyed this
What a wonderful addition to ITP!!! Loved your comments on the “debris” and “single tree”…….so true. Next time I’ll join you with a glass of wine!!
We’d love that
Really enjoyed your patio talk. Can just imagine the beauty of it all. I so agree with seeing the beauty in everything, I see something everyday that makes me say wow. I feel blessed. thank you, look forward to more.
Cheers! Fun being a part of your group. And never get tired of talking about art.
Neither do we ?
I felt like being with you there. Loved the talk! I actually lived in a place very similar to that one, in the mountains near Rio de Janeiro. Now I am living in Rio. Missed those mountains and that quietness. Take care you both.
Anabela, I taught in Buenos Aires many years ago. No Rio but not too far either. It was a beautiful plan and found the people so friendly. We are glad you loved the talk
This is the first time I have seen all the replies to our Patio talks! I am so happy you all enjoyed this. It is a huge part of our passion, talking art with like minded friends. Elizabeth and I NEVER tire of talking art – EVER! And we learn something new almost every conversation. It would be really fun to have a livestream with all of us talking art with a glass of wine (or water or soda) and feel like we are really on the same patio. Something to figure out now!
This brings back fond memories of being there with you Liz. I sat on the porch one morning drinking my coffee and watched a moose walk through the yard. Amazing! I didn’t know why the pine trees turned orange until I heard you talk about them. We had the most beautiful orange pine tree on our street. I couldn’t figure out why it was orange but now I know. It’s recently been cut down. I am looking forward to exploring your site and learning more from both of you.
I remember that trip. You need to come out here again so we can go up to Cabin
God, I envy you so much! Look at that view…a fabulous and very very deep talk….
How beautiful is this place
It is beautiful
